Not a doctor–patient relationship
Reading this website, using its calculators, or contacting us does not create a doctor–patient or any other professional relationship. The content is written by researchers and editors, not by licensed medical practitioners.
Always seek professional advice
Never disregard, avoid or delay obtaining medical advice from a qualified healthcare provider because of something you read here. If you think you may have a sleep disorder or any medical condition, consult your doctor or a qualified sleep specialist. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
Individual results vary
Sleep science describes averages across populations. Our calculators use general figures — for example, an average 90-minute sleep cycle and roughly 15 minutes to fall asleep — that will not match everyone. Real cycles range from about 70 to 120 minutes and change with age, health and habits. Treat all results as rough guidance, not a prescription.

Where we cite research, we link to reputable sources such as the Sleep Foundation, the NHS, the CDC and the National Library of Medicine. These citations are provided for reference and do not imply that those organizations endorse SnoozeMetrics.
